[job_card.job_description]Prepare patients for visits by taking vital signs, reviewing medication histories, and ensuring accurate documentation. Support providers directly during exams and procedures. Administer non-dose dependent medications and injections following current standards. Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and ensure infection control protocols are followed. Help with scheduling, patient education, and documentation to keep clinic flow smooth and efficient. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Be a key member of a collaborative, supportive healthcare team. High school diploma or GED required Graduate of Medical Assistant program; Certification strongly preferred. At least one year of experience in an ambulatory or clinical office setting. Valid CPR certification (American Red Cross BLS or American Heart Association BLS). Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Strong attention to detail, solid communication skills, and a commitment to putting patients first.
