Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced First Class Sheet Metal Workers for projects located in and around Newport News, VA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $40.97 / hour based on experience plus $140 / day per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. If you are a Sheet Metal Worker eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope :
- Installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads and shipboard furniture
- Sheet metal fabrication shop work
- Comprehend complex ventilation, assembly drawings, blueprints & sketches to include weld symbols, material, types, datum and reference lines
- Layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly
- Assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner
- Use small hand tools electric drills grinders rivet guns and shop equipment drill press press break Shears etc
