Description
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join a dynamic non‑profit organization based in Toledo, Ohio. This long‑term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to create impactful visual content supporting national programs, events, and membership initiatives. You will work closely with the Communications and Marketing team to deliver exceptional designs for both print and digital platforms while ensuring brand consistency.
Responsibilities
Design visually compelling promotional materials for print and digital platforms.
Create layouts for event programs, signage, and branded merchandise for the National Convention.
Maintain brand consistency across all projects by adhering to established branding guidelines.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand design needs and deliver assets within deadlines.
Prepare production‑ready files and coordinate with vendors for printing and distribution.
Develop social media graphics and other content to drive engagement and awareness.
Utilize tools like Canva for rapid design needs as necessary.
Explore opportunities for basic video editing or animation to enhance digital content.
Ensure all designs are precise, accurate, and meet high‑quality standards.
Requirements
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
Minimum of 1–2 years of graphic design experience, including internships or freelance work.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual design.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools.
Experience with basic video editing or animation is advantageous.
Understanding of nonprofit communications is preferred.
