Salary :
Suyi Park, MD & Associates, PA is seeking a dedicated and personable Primary Care Physician to join our team on a part-time basis to support our mission of expanding access to quality care to our new primary care office in Baltimore. This role combines community outreach with direct patient care, helping to grow our practice by engaging with potential patients in nursing homes, hospitals, and other care settings. This role will initially focus on outreach and engagement activities in local nursing homes, hospitals, and community settings to attract and onboard new patients. Thereafter the physician will build a patient panel to provide primary care services. Compensation is attractive because this new location has a lot of potential to provide care to residents in the area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct health presentations and educational sessions at nursing homes, hospitals, and community centers to promote the practice and build trust.
Establish and maintain relationships with facility staff, discharge planners, and care coordinators to identify and refer new patients.
Provide primary care services to new and existing patients, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow-up visits.
Collaborate with Dr. Park and the care team to develop outreach strategies and monitor patient growth.
Document outreach efforts and clinical encounters in accordance with practice standards and HIPAA regulations.
Participate in occasional weekend or evening outreach events as needed.
Provide clinical consultations and assessments as needed during outreach visits.
Collaborate with Dr. Park and the administrative team to develop outreach strategies and track patient growth metrics.
Maintain accurate documentation of outreach activities and patient interactions.
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient confidentiality.
Participate in occasional weekend or evening outreach events as needed.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with active medical license in Maryland.
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred.
Experience in geriatric care, transitional care, or community health is a plus.
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Ability to work independently and travel locally for outreach events.
Passion for primary care, community health and patient-centered care.
Schedule & Compensation
Flexible part-time hours (approx. 1020 hours / week) for 3-6 months. Also open to full-time following patient onboarding phase
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and patient onboarding outcome.
Mileage reimbursement for outreach travel.
Opportunity to grow into a larger clinical role as the practice expands.
