Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Specialist to join our team supporting our Federal client!In this role you will join a multi-disciplined environmental team providing onsite support at the client office .

What You'll Be Doing :

• Act as the Company representative with the client during the program execution.
• Assist client to determine specific environmental support requirements to execute their expanding construction program including : develop a comprehensive NEPA compliance strategy, including identifying the appropriate level of NEPA review for each proposed government actionprepare programmatic Environmental Assessment (EA) and all necessary associated NEPA documentation for all proposed government actionsconduct detailed environmental analysis of the facilities master plans, including identifying and assessing environmental impacts of specific projects and activitiessupport Federal client in engaging with the public and stakeholders, including drafting public notices, attending public meetings, and providing assistance with drafting responses to public commentscoordinate and consult with relevant federal, state, and local agencies, including U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).Advises client on matters related to compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Mobilize company resources or specialty subcontractors to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work as required
