Job Summary

As a Preschool Teacher at Celebree School, youll create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, learning, and play. Youll lead developmentally appropriate activities, support childrens growth, and help guide classroom aides as they build skills and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that support developmental milestones
• Foster a warm, inclusive classroom where children feel safe and valued
• Support early language and literacy through conversation, reading, and storytelling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Build strong partnerships with families through consistent communication
• Work closely with the preschool teacher to create curriculum as some kids will be coming out of that classroom.

Qualifications

• Must meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by DCFS.
• This position requires comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements
• The ability to manage a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
