Sapphire Health Services is currently seeking a dedicated Med Tech to join our team and uphold our commitment to excellence.

JOB SUMMARY :

A Medical Technician (Med Tech) will play an essential role in delivering compassionate care to residents within a community-based care setting. This position involves providing direct care, administering medications, monitoring patient health, and supporting overall wellness. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to high-quality care.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Fostersa supportive, compassionate environment for our residents and their families
• Medication Administration : Prepare and administer medications to residents as prescribed, following all state and federal regulations, facility policies and procedures and maintaining accurate medication records
• Report changes in residents' conditions to appropriate team members
• Assistance with Daily Living : Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and comfort
• Care Coordination : Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals to create and maintain individual care plans for each resident
• Documentation : Accurately document all care, medications, and any observed changes in residents' conditions in accordance with company policies
• Emergency Response : Act promptly and calmly in emergencies, following established protocols to ensure resident safety
• Family Communication : Communicate with residents' families regarding health status, medication changes, and overall care updates, fostering trust and transparency
• Compliance : Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies regarding healthcare and safety standards
• Other duties as assigned
