Location: Davenport, IA

Shift: 3rd Shift | 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM

Schedule: Full-time | Overtime and weekend flexibility required

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in the Davenport area to hire a Material Coordinator for a critical overnight role supporting Operations and Supply Management.

This position plays a hands-on role in ensuring production materials are available, scheduled accurately, and delivered on time to work centers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a functional team member supporting Operations and Supply Management
• Oversee production material availability, ensuring direct materials are scheduled and ready for use
• Manage material planning, scheduling, and inventory control within a SAP
• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to support production flow and changing manufacturing demands
• Analyze material data, identify gaps, and proactively push for continuous improvement
• Maintain a strong customer service mindset while supporting internal manufacturing partners

Schedule & Work Environment

• 3rd shift: 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
• Expected work week is frequently 50 hours (typically 8–10 hour shifts)
• Flexibility required for overtime and occasional weekend work
• On-site role – remote work is not an option
• Metatarsals are required for this position
• Visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future

Required Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Management, Operations, or Manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of manufacturing demands, supply flow, and logistics
• Comfort working in data-driven environments and material planning systems
• Confident communicator who isn’t afraid to respectfully engage and ask questions
• Ambitious, motivated, and dependable
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter with a can-do attitude
• Ability to analyze data and drive process improvement

What would help you stand out

• Prior or current military experience
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems
