Responsibilities Hospital-based Operating Room with 8 suites Specialties include General, GYN, Pain, Endoscopy, Urology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, ENT, and Plastics Day shifts, 4x10 hours, 6 : 30am-5 : 00pm 3-4 on-call shifts per week with a required 30-minute response time Floating may be required to other units and sister facilities within a 75-mile radius Uses Epic for charting Average census is 30 OR cases Perform circulating and scrubbing duties for a range of surgical specialties including total joint arthroplasty Training modules are completed during orientation and vary by specialty No block scheduling requests accepted Only a maximum of 5 days of pre-approved time off permitted, excluding holidays Holiday coverage is required; no holiday RTO is accepted First-time travelers are welcome Local candidates are not eligible; must reside more than 75 miles from facility Requirements Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required Ortho total joint experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and PALS preferred Proof of address with a valid driver's license or state ID and a utility bill dated within the last 3 months, showing permanent address greater than 75 miles from the facility Must be able to provide 2 supervisory references Applicants must not have any license violations Previous staff must have a 1 year separation from the facility to be eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640663.
