KBR is seeking a Security Specialist / Alternate Site Security Manager to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

The work location will be a combination of office and construction environments. The successful candidate is expected to perform duties that require the employee to sit, stand, walk, climb ladders, wear safety equipment, and operate standard office equipment. The candidate must have vision, speaking, and hearing abilities that would enable them to be successful in the role. Responsibilities :

• Enforcing and monitoring security procedures; ensure compliance with all aspects of the government and company security policies and procedures related to : physical access to buildings, room, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation, and debriefings.
• Possess a high level of understanding and previous application of the ICD 705, to include, but not limited to; development of SCIF accreditation documents, intrusion detection systems, access control devices, Pre-Construction FFC, Fixed Facility Checklist, TEMPEST requirements, Construction Security Plan (CSP), SOPs / EAPs, Construction drawings / specifications, etc.
• Interface with program managers and maintain liaison with US Government Program Security Officers.
• Develop and implement security procedures in coordination with management personnel.
• Conduct security briefings and maintain security education programs. Investigates losses and security violations; may recommend corrective action. Maintains liaison with outside agencies and keeps upper management informed of all security activities.
• Ensures destruction of classified and company proprietary information in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Assists in revision of procedures manuals. Work performed in the area of security is performed in accordance with DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency), NSA (National Security Agency), and / or other applicable agencies which conduct regular security audits and / or investigations.
