Job Description

The CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer - Medical Device Manufacturing will be responsible for the following :

• Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) for dimensional inspection of medical device components.
• Apply advanced metrology principles to validate part geometry and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Utilize OPG systems for optical inspection and measurement.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans, inspection procedures, and documentation.
• Conduct supplier quality audits, manage non-conformance reports, and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and customer requirements.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer - Medical Device Manufacturing will have the following qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in CMM programming (PC-DMIS or similar software preferred).
• Strong knowledge of metrology and optical measurement systems (OPG experience required).
• Familiarity with medical device manufacturing processes and regulatory standards.
• Experience in supplier quality management, including audits and corrective actions.
• Proficient in GD&T and dimensional inspection principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
