Building Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. $16 - $20 hourly

• Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
• Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
• Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures
• Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours

• 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
• Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
