Business operation hours (day shift)

Perform any and all Logistics functions as needed. This includes but is not limited to : Responsible for timely, accurate and safe movement of materials, chemicals and equipment between plants on company property. Receives materials from outside sources, verifies, documents, and delivers materials to internal requesters. Package materials as needed for shipment to customers and suppliers. Position requires the ability to safely operate a 24' box truck, as well as other Powered Industrial Truck equipment (Fork-lift and pallet jacks) and common woodworking tools (table saw, panel saw hand tools etc. Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, professional work area.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

• Using Powered industrial equipment, loads and unloads truck safely and securely, makes note of shortages, identifies damaged goods.
• Receives materials into SAP system and routes material to proper in-plant destinations as needed.
• Operate Company truck in a safe manner to move materials between the different buildings and departments.
• Be able to perform basic computer transactions related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Communicate with team members to determine what and when materials need to be moved between buildings and departments.
• Package materials in appropriate manner to ensure it arrives safely at its destination.
• Monitor local hazardous satellite storage areas and moves materials to central hazardous storage area as needed.
• Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintains high quality standards.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
