OIPA Software Engineer

Salary : $140,000 - 185,000 per year

Requirements :

• I have 4+ years of expertise in developing policy administration systems using the Oracle Policy Administration System (OIPA), which includes configuration language, integration, AS Files, data intake, database architecture, and data extraction patterns.
• I am skilled in building OIPA extensions and performing palette and application security implementations, as well as managing screens (policy, roles segment, allocation, and valuation) and release management.
• I have experience implementing design patterns and using UML.
• I am proficient in Test Driven Development, JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, and Protractor.
• I can utilize IDEs such as Spring Tool Suite and Eclipse within both UNIX and Windows environments.
• I can write SQL queries and debug stored procedures within an Oracle environment.
• I possess leadership qualities, being a team player, self-starter, collaborative, innovative, and eager to learn every day.
• An understanding of Docker and cloud-computing / cloud services platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure) is a plus.
• Holding an AWS Certification is also a plus.

As a Principal Software Engineer on our team, I will leverage my skills in engineering, modernizing, and testing annuity contract generation and account opening applications.

I will be expected to quickly understand all components of our applications and collaborate with my team to deliver best-in-class solutions.
