Sr. Cost Accountant

Premier PV is searching for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX or Baton Rouge, LA. Reporting to the Accounting Manager. The Senior Cost Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Partner with Operations in Standard Cost creation and maintenance
• Prepare and provide analyses of cost variances
• Be the SME in cost-related matters, work effective with cross-functional partners
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle counts
• Performs annual cost rolls
• Lead the monthly close process relating to Revenue and COGS, including preparation of journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Assist with quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting in COGS related matters
• Research and interpret COGS data to answer accounting and financial questions
• Ensure the integrity of internal controls in compliance with SOX and company policies
• Participate in ad hoc projects and additional duties as assigned

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
