Business Development Representative (Sales)

PBS is a locally owned payroll company that partners closely with small and mid-sized businesses to deliver a comprehensive suite of services, including payroll management, human resources, payroll tax compliance, and more.

As a Business Development Specialist at PBS, you will be instrumental in driving our growth by building and nurturing relationships with referral sources, conducting outreach through cold calling and networking, and exceeding quarterly sales targets. Your professionalism and expertise will shine as you guide clients through the implementation process, assist with paperwork, and recommend improvements to enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities through relationship-building, cold calling, and networking.
• Prepare and present proposals with follow up throughout the sales process
• Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism with both team members and clients.
• Facilitate and coordinate software demonstrations as needed.
• Communicate and oversee the implementation process with prospective clients.
• Assist clients with the completion of implementation paperwork, following up on any outstanding items.
• Contribute to the refinement of company procedures by suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Stay informed about all products, services, and industry regulations to ensure top-notch service delivery.
• Build a network with Social Media Platforms

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in B2B outside sales or completion of a sales internship.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work under pressure and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, with the ability to manage confidential employee matters professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• A positive, winning attitude and a relentless commitment to success!
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus
• Experience in the HR/ payroll Industry is a plus
