About The Position

Location : Poughkeepsie, New York, USA Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Type : Travel Schedule : 3x12s Evenings Time : 13 Weeks

Seven Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse for a 13-week day shift travel assignment in Poughkeepsie, NY. This position (3x12s) offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,700 and is ideal for RNs who thrive under pressure and are committed to providing high-quality, fast-paced care to patients with diverse emergency needs.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse :

  • Rapidly assess and triage patients with a wide range of acute conditions
  • Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and support staff in high-pressure situations
  • Monitor and document changes in patient conditions using EHR systems
  • Assist in trauma care, code situations, and critical patient stabilization
  • Maintain infection control, safety protocols, and accurate records

    • Requirements of the Travel Emergency Department Nurse :

  • Active New York RN license
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience in a hospital setting
  • Strong clinical skills in emergency and trauma care
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in rapidly changing environments
  • Comfortable working 12-hour evening shifts
