Location : Memphis TN - Onsite

Duration : 18 Months Extensions (Long-term contract w / no end date. Could go perm if candidate desires)

Interview : Virtual round but the Memphis candidate needs to go in person for a meet-up.

We need a backend-leaning Java Engineer with AEM experience supporting Digital Experience platforms (DEX)

Need only 7 8-year experience.

Overview

This role is responsible for providing hands-on technical leadership while designing developing implementing and supporting multi-layered enterprise applications. The Software Engineer serves as a subject matter expert across software engineering best practices and actively mentors junior engineers while contributing directly to complex development initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

5 years of professional software engineering experience.

Demonstrated experience designing and developing multi-layered enterprise applications.

Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across multiple systems.

Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.

Experience working with front-end UI / UX concepts APIs and microservices schema development and SecDevOps practices.

Strong documentation skills including technical diagrams and written specifications.

Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts customers and technical stakeholders.

Additional Information

This role is based in an established office environment in Memphis.

On-call responsibilities include daily validations and occasional after-hours production support typically requiring short time commitments.

Contractors are compensated for active work hours related to on-call escalations and must be reachable within 30 minutes during designated off-hours.
