Must-Have :
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a General Emergency Department (Non-Trauma) setting.
2. Patient population includes adolescents to geriatrics.
3. Certified in Stroke and STEMI.
4. Experience with Epic charting system is required.
Description :
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and will not be accepted if new to the field.
Our Emergency Department is very large and busy, with a high acuity of patients.
The nurse will work a 1 : 4 ratio in a facility averaging 165-175 patients per day.
Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.
If one major holiday occurs during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall in the assignment, the nurse is expected to work both.
If three major holidays occur, the nurse will be expected to work two of them.
Compliance and completion of all necessary documents prior to the start date is mandatory.
Candidates must be available to submit core items and complete necessary labs within 48 hours of signing the contract.
References from supervisory personnel are preferred.
Candidates must hold a GA or Compact license at the time of submission.
