Business Development Director

A company is looking for a Director of Business Development for the East Coast region of the United States.

Key Responsibilities

Manage business development activities, including client visits, presentations, and direct sales

Oversee budget and contract negotiations with study sponsors and provide input on project proposals

Represent the company at industry events and contribute to strategic development of services and pricing

Required Qualifications

At least five years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industry in a business management or sales role

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; a Master's degree is an asset

Strong knowledge of clinical drug and device research, preferably in dermatology or immunology

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships

Solid understanding of good clinical practices and relevant regulatory guidelines
