Job Description

The School of Social Work is looking for a motivated student worker to assist with ongoing research projects and other administrative tasks.

The intention is for the student to be meaningfully involved in the research, with the goal that their contributions could lead to co-authorship on at least one peer-reviewed manuscript, depending on their level of engagement and contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Support ongoing research projects and actively participate in the research process
  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Assist with data preparation as needed
  • Contribute to manuscript development and writing

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate must be enrolled in the University of Nevada, Reno
  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits
  • Must maintain a 3.0 GPA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong interest in research (Social Policy Analysis)
  • Willingness to engage in the research process
  • Interest in academic writing and scholarly literature
  • Possible Master of Social Work students are preferred, but not required
