E1 Programmer, Onsite, Phoenix, AZ

The E1 Programmer will support, enhance, and develop EnterpriseOne applications, interfaces, and reports, while also leveraging RPG experience to assist with legacy integrations and custom AS / 400 development. To accomplish this job successfully, the EnterpriseOne Programmer must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. E1 Programmer Responsibilities :

– Design, develop, and maintain custom EnterpriseOne applications, reports (UBEs), and business functions (BSFNs / NERs).

– Utilize EnterpriseOne toolsets (FDA, RDA, TDA, OMW, Orchestrator, AIS) to configure, enhance, and deliver solutions.

– Troubleshoot and resolve E1 application issues in collaboration with CNC and functional teams.

– Maintain and enhance RPG-based programs that interface with JD Edwards or run independently.

– Assist in World-to- EnterpriseOne data migration, report rewriting, and legacy program conversion.

– Maintain RPG programs that support manufacturing, distribution, or financial processes.

– Build and support integrations between E1 and external systems (EDI, APIs, flat files, DB2 / SQL).

– Develop conversion programs for data loads during upgrades or implementations.

– Work closely with business analysts, CNCs, and functional leads to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

– Document technical specifications, test plans, and deployment procedures.

E1 Programmer Qualifications

– High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

– Bachelor’s Degree (4-year college or technical school) required. Field of Study : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

– 5+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience, 9.1 or 9.2 preferred.

– Strong knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne toolsets : Form Design Aid (FDA), Report Design Aid (RDA), Table Design Aid (TDA), OMW, UBE, Business Functions (BSFNs) / Named Event Rule (NERs), Orchestrator.

– Knowledge of JD Edwards Orchestrator.

– Hands-on experience with RPG (RPG III / IV / ILE, CLP) Programming on AS / 400 (IBM i).

– SQL / DB2 development and debugging skills.

– Knowledge of AIS / REST APIs for EnterpriseOne integration preferred.

– Proficiency in C programming preferred.

– Scripting experience with languages like Groovy, Ruby, or Python preferred.

– Familiarity with CNC concepts and EnterpriseOne architecture preferred.

– Strong grasp of general business operations like financials and manufacturing.

– Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Valid driver’s license issued in the employing state and good driving record.
