Pay : $19.18 per hour + tips
Schedule : Open availability preferred. Required to work weekends and most major holidays. Part-Time
POSITION PURPOSE : We are seeking energetic, friendly, and professional servers to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests. This role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a positive attitude to ensure every guest leaves happy.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
Take orders and serve food and beverages promptly, accurately, and with enthusiasm.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, offering menu suggestions and answering questions.
Maintain knowledge of the menu and daily specials to make informed recommendations.
Safely transport hot and liquid items between the kitchen, bar, and dining areas.
Keep the dining area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively address them.
Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate to a Manager when necessary.
Follow proper timekeeping, attendance, and uniform standards.
Supportive Duties :
Respond promptly and safely to emergency situations.
Maintain composure during busy service periods.
Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned by Management.
Additional Information :
Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Due to the cyclical nature of the restaurant industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules, including weekends and major holidays, to meet business needs.
Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Employees must adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective operations. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Professional grooming and appearance in line with company standards is required at all times.
Qualifications :
Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year serving experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
Skills :
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and perform all duties accurately and safely.
Licenses / Certifications : Must be able to obtain any required government licenses or permits.
Physical Requirements :
Stand and move for extended periods.
Lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, twist, walk, crouch, squat, and stretch as needed.
Manual dexterity to operate service equipment.
Continuous use of talking, hearing, and vision to interact with guests and team members.
