Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Cardiovascular Technologist for a travel job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Duties :

Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.

Job Summary :

  • Responsibilities to include Adult Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology and / or Structural Heart.
  • Ensures that complete and accurate documentation is maintained, ensures accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.
  • Respond and provide emergent care, performs administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, ensuring maintenance of equipment, and cleanliness of the lab.
  • Assures preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance in accordance with PHS, Local and Federal regulations.

    • Skills :

    Required Skills & Experience :

  • One plus (1)+ years of adult Cath lab diagnostic and interventional procedure in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring and recording duties.
  • Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast paced environment.
  • Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

    • Preferred Skills & Experience :

  • Prefer 3 years of adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP, procedures in performing scrubbing, circulating and monitoring / recording duties.

    • Education : Required Education :

  • Associates Degree in one of the following : Invasive Cardiovascular / Cardiopulmonary Technologist program; Radiology; Respiratory therapy; Paramedic program; Surgical Technology.

    • OR

  • Four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.

    • Required Certifications & Licensure :

  • RCIS or RCES.
  • BLS.
  • ACLS.
  • PALS is only required at Presbyterian Downtown.
