Role: Oracle Cloud ERP Finance Functional Consultant
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite Hybrid only) - No Remote

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Developer to join our enterprise systems team. This role is focused on the deep technical implementation, customization, and extension of our Oracle Fusion Cloud Subscription Management (SM) solution.
The ideal candidate is a "techno-functional" expert who not only understands the business processes of subscription billing but lives and breathes the technical side. You will be the subject matter expert for all SM technical development, including writing Groovy scripts for complex logic, building custom VBCS screens, creating detailed BIP reports, and providing expert-level support to our integration teams with Oracle REST API payloads.

Key Responsibilities --
Functional (%):

• Lead technical design sessions, translating business requirements into robust system solutions, customizations, and extensions.
• Configure the Subscription Management module, including subscription profiles, usage-based pricing, billing, and revenue recognition setups.
• Serve as the SME for the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash (QC) process, advising on technical capabilities and limitations.

Technical & Development (%):

• Groovy Scripting- Design, develop, test, and maintain custom solutions using Groovy scripting to enforce complex business rules, perform validations, and automate processes within the SM module.
• Reporting & Analytics (BIP/SQL)- Develop, customize, and maintain complex BIP Reports for subscription billing, revenue, and usage analytics. This requires expert-level SQL skills to query the Oracle Cloud database.
• UI/UX Customization (VBCS)- Develop, deploy, and support custom user interfaces, components, and extensions using Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) to enhance the standard Oracle Subscription Management user experience.
• API & Integration Support - Act as the primary technical analyst for all SM REST APIs. This includes defining, mapping, testing, and troubleshooting API request payloads to directly support the OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) development team.
• Customization - Leverage Application Composer and Page Composer for standard customizations.
• Data Mapping - Configure and manage Service Mappings and Customization Algorithms to ensure custom DFF data and other critical fields flow correctly to downstream systems (, AR, RMCS).
• Troubleshooting - Own the resolution of complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis on scripts, reports, API failures, and data mismatches.

Additional Details:

• Direct experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience with other related Oracle modules (, CPQ, RMCS, PIM).
• Experience with data migration techniques (FBDI, Standard Import).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• + years of experience in a techno-functional role supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Oracle Fusion Subscription Management module.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for Oracle Cloud customizations.
• Expert-level SQL skills with extensive experience writing complex queries and developing custom BIP Reports in a Fusion environment.
• Hands-on development experience with VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) to create and extend applications.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud REST APIs, including designing and testing payloads (, in Postman) to support integration teams.
• Proficiency with Oracle customization tools, including Application Composer, Page Composer, and Service Mappings.
• Strong functional understanding of the end-to-end QC process and how Subscription Management integrates with Order Management (OM), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Pricing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
