Opportunity :

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapist

Job Details :

  • Minimum 1 year of radiation therapy experience required
  • Prior travel experience required
  • 40 hours of orientation provided
  • Daily census of 15-25 patients
  • Treat adult and geriatric patients with primary diagnoses including breast, prostate, head / neck, and lung cancers
  • Work with Siemens Go.SIM 21EX Linac equipment
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Required certifications : ARRT R.T.(T) and BLS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
  • Skills include adult acute care, custom molds and shields, tumor localization, CBCT / kV / mV imaging, external beam therapy, IMRT, and radiation safety
  • Experience with Pinnacle (Philips) and Eclipse (Varian) systems
  • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
  • Valid state license required at time of submission
  • Two references obtained within the last year required
  • 50-mile travel requirement applies
  • Only one holiday time off approval per contract
