Senior Java Developer

About your role :

You will be a part of the engineering team that builds the Global Settlement and Reconciliation (GSR) platform designed to deliver innovations through simple and fast integrations with multiple systems within and outside Fiserv using developer-friendly flexible communication standards unified APIs robust technical stack and a scalable runtime environment. You will play a critical role in designing developing and maintaining high-quality and secure software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What youll do :

• Lead the design development and implementation of software applications to support Fiservs business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform coding testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Evaluate and recommend tools technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency.
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards security practices and performance benchmarks.
• Oversee technical debt management vulnerability remediation and advocate for sustainable engineering practices.
• Support DevOps initiatives including CI / CD infrastructure as code and cloud-native development.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

Salary Range

$90000.00 - $158400.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
