Danvers Ford is seeking a Automotive Mobile Service Technician with a strong mechanical background and basic computer programming skills to join our growing team.
This role is ideal for an independent, self-motivated individual who can deliver quality service in the field.
Daily tasks include traveling in a Mobile Service Van to customer homes and workplaces to perform basic mechanical services, diagnostics, and recalls.
You’ll also apply your programming knowledge to support software updates, diagnostic tools, and connected vehicle systems.
B-level technician experience and ASE certifications are preferred but not required.

Automotive Mobile Service Technician Responsibilities :
Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty and have a natural disposition to put the customer firstEngage with many different customers each day and represent the dealership while being calm and responsiveOrganize and prepare for the day’s appointments and be excellent at time managementPerform vehicle repairs and / or maintenance work as outlined on repair order in a clean and efficient mannerCommunicate with the Mobile Service Coordinator, Parts Department and Dealer Management regularly to effectively manage production and customer communicationAccurately document vehicle repairs / work performed on the repair orderStay informed of Ford technical bulletins and complete required trainingAble to work occasionally in challenging weather conditionsAble to drive and maintain a company vehicle responsiblyTake pride in the role and bring a start-up mentality to growing the businessAccess PTS for all technician, vehicle capacities, specifications and OASIS Monitoring (searching for any FSA’s)Automotive Mobile Service Technician Qualifications :
B-level or higher qualifications preferredProficient in computer diagnostics and programmingStrong Mechanical BackgroundDetail-oriented and organizedRequires little or no guidance on jobsValid driver licenseASE / Manufacturer certifications - Ford certifications are desirable but not mandatoryService Technician experience preferredStrong use of technological devices including tabletsAbility to program modules, perform DTC’s Retrieval, and possible PID interpretationMust be able to perform physical taste and lift up to 100 poundsBy working at Danvers Ford dealership, you can be a part of a brand that honors the past, and is invested in the future.
