Accounting Specialist

Location : Indianapolis, IN (Southside)

Employment Type : Direct Hire

Compensation : $52,000-$60,000

Schedule : Onsite, Monday-Friday, flexible hours (7-4 or 8-5)

About the Company

A well-established manufacturing organization specializing in premium wellness products. This is an onsite role within a small, collaborative accounting team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with strong Accounts Receivable experience and the ability to support Accounts Payable and purchasing functions. This role offers variety and the chance to broaden your skill set in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices
  • Process and apply incoming payments
  • Monitor accounts for due balances and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate AR records and perform reconciliations

Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices and credits
  • Maintain vendor files and assist with payment runs

    • Purchasing Support

  • Create and track purchase orders
  • Update and maintain data in ERP system

    • Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience (AR focus preferred)
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Degree not required

    • Systems & Tools

  • Infor Syteline (ERP)
  • Microsoft Excel

    • Pay Details : $50,000.00 to $62,000.00 per year
