Under general direction, plans and coordinates the creation of multimedia content, including video, photo, and graphics, to support internal and external communications.

Salary $54,288 - $93,080 Annually (Depending on Qualifications)
Responsibilities
Creates, edits, and produces multimedia content for digital platforms, marketing materials, and internal communications. Ensures content is consistent with brand guidelines. Formats and optimizes multimedia content for various platforms, (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, website, email). Coordinates filming, photography, and recording efforts for live events. Maintains organized multimedia asset libraries, ensuring all files and B-roll footage are appropriately tagged, stored, and accessible. Responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of multimedia equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and audiovisual equipment. Maintains an inventory list and logs equipment use and maintenance issues. Collaborates with marketing, communications, and other stakeholders to develop multimedia content strategies that align with organizational goals. Completes other job duties as assigned.
Senior Multimedia Coordinator (in addition to duties listed above) May provide leadership and guidance to lower-level staff. Responsible for the coordination of resource needs during events, such as managing supplies, preparing equipment, and organizing files for distribution. Manages post-production tasks, such as organizing footage, tagging media, and preparing content for internal review or external distribution.
Lead Multimedia Coordinator (in addition to duties listed above)
Provides leadership, training, and direction to lower-level staff. Develops and manages comprehensive production plans for complex multimedia projects, including resource allocation within specific project scopes. Conducts final quality assurance and approval of all outgoing multimedia content, verifying adherence to brand standards, technical specifications, and project objectives before distribution.
Multimedia Administrator (in addition to all duties listed above) Responsible for operational oversight of the multimedia area, ensuring projects are executed and align with organizational goals. Provides supervision, work assignments, evaluation, and training to all subordinate staff. May assume the duties and responsibilities in the absence of a manager. Manages the day-to-day coordination of multimedia content creation and leads multimedia efforts at live events. Creates detailed project timelines and production schedules, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated. Oversees purchases, contracts, and makes budget recommendations for all multimedia equipment and related subscription services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong knowledge of multimedia production equipment, software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro), and digital asset management systems. Advanced knowledge of video production, event coverage, and post-production, including best practices for live events, video editing, and creating multimedia content for social media and web platforms. Knowledge of budgeting and cost control for multimedia production and equipment. Strong understanding of best practices for capturing high-quality photos and videos at live events, including knowledge of lighting, sound, composition, and camera operation. Familiarity with the technical requirements and best practices for optimizing multimedia content for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, email newsletters). Strong understanding of brand guidelines and how to apply them to multimedia content to maintain consistency across various channels. Strong written and oral communication skills. Bilingual preferred. Expertise in video and photo production, including shooting, editing, and post-production work. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that timelines and deadlines are met without compromising quality. Proficiency with multimedia equipment (e.g., cameras, microphones, lighting setups), as well as troubleshooting common technical issues during events or shoots. Ability to think creatively to solve challenges that arise during the production process, whether it’s a last-minute change in project scope or technical difficulties during live events. Proficiency with Apple iOS video editing / post-production software, Microsoft Windows environment, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to communicate and express ideas diplomatically, clearly, and effectively. Ability to work independently and be self-motivated. Ability to ensure that all multimedia content is high-quality, properly formatted, and error-free before it is published or distributed. Ability to quickly adjust to new challenges, technologies, and evolving multimedia trends. Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to align multimedia content with broader organizational goals. Ability to take a concept and develop it into a cohesive and engaging multimedia piece, considering factors like visual storytelling, pacing, and emotional impact.
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with major coursework in multimedia, communications, marketing, advertising, or similar field and two (2) years of experience in photo editing and video production. Familiarity with multimedia production tools and live event coverage is required.
An equivalent combination of appropriate education, relevant experience, and applicable industry certifications may substitute for the minimum requirements.
Senior Multimedia Coordinator : One (1) additional year of relevant work experience is required.
Lead Multimedia Coordinator : Two (2) additional years of relevant work experience is required.
Multimedia Administrator : Three (3) additional years of progressively responsible directly related work experience are required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Requires a valid Texas Driver License or receipt of a valid Texas Driver’s License within 90 days of relocation to Texas and a safe driving record, as measured by company policy.
Multimedia Administrator Must obtain an Adobe Certified Professional Certification in a relevant Creative Cloud application (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or After Effects) within 12 months of appointment.
