Join Us as a Skills Instructor As a Skills Instructor, you'll work directly with adults with developmental disabilities, helping them cultivate essential skills for successful employment, meaningful volunteer work, pursuing post-secondary education, and active community participation in various settings to achieve greater independence.

What You'll Do

• Provide person-centered instruction through planned community activities.
• Support individuals in accessing community resources, planning engaging activities, and strengthening their skill sets.
• Take individuals on community outingswhether for appointments, errands, or just to enjoy the day.
• Track and document progress, capturing accurate and concise case notes.
• Redirect inappropriate behaviors and facilitate positive resolutions to challenges.
• Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
