A-Line Staffing is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join a fast-paced, patient-focused MinuteClinic team in McKinney, TX. This is a temporary / contingent, onsite position with potential for permanent hire based on performance and clinic needs.

Position Details

Location : McKinney, TX

Schedule : 4 days per week, 9.5 hours per day; no weekends or holidays

Must travel to surrounding clinics in the Plano / McKinney area as needed

Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025

Pay Rate : $37.17 / hr

Responsibilities

Administer vaccinations and injections (flu, COVID, TB tests, etc.)

Obtain vital signs and provide emergency care in collaboration with providers

Perform patient registration, intake, and checkout

Assist with wait room management, patient outreach, and appointment scheduling

Prepare clinic and waiting areas for optimal patient experience

Deliver patient-focused care to help people on their path to better health

Required Qualifications

Full, active, and unrestricted LVN license in Texas or other U.S. state, territory, or D.C.

Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience (Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room preferred)

Experience administering immunizations and providing patient education

Proficient in documenting care within an Electronic Medical Record (EPIC preferred)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Note : Nurses with experience primarily in long-term care settings (nursing homes, home health, LTACs, skilled nursing facilities) are not a good fit for MinuteClinic positions.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room

Comfort managing multiple patients and tasks simultaneously

Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program approved by the State Agency and / or NLNAC at the time of completion

High School Diploma or GED required

Onboarding Requirements

Include a screenshot of your LVN license

Include a screenshot of BLS certification or list the expiration date (must be ≥30 days past start date)

Be available for 3-week training / orientation

Be able to work scheduled shifts in 6-week blocks
