[job_card.job_description]An Associate degree in accounting , a Bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred) 2 years of accounting manager experience in Logistics industry Strong knowledge of GAAP , EBIDTA Strong knowledge of regulations of Tax Law - State and Federal Supervising skills Strong knowledge of Quick Books and MS Office Ability to work independently and multitask Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A well-established transportation company is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager,
motivated, committed, energetic team player who would like to join our team.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee the daily operation of accounting department
- Track daily cash activity , records daily cash receipts and other journal entries according to GAAP
- Review and oversee AP and AR
- Prepare and review properly documents
- Process intercompany transactions
- Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations
- Processing and Ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
- Run weekly reports for higher management
- Debt Schedule
- Accounting Department activities including but not limited to month and close, AP process, company expenses, AR process , financial statements preparation , G-L maintenance and periodic projects .

Schedule : Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm CST
