NURSE EXTERN

Responsibilities

The purpose of the Nurse Extern position is to provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a designated registered nurse preceptor. Assists professional staff in meeting the needs of non‐critical patients. Performs essential tasks to enhance professional capabilities.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled full‐time in a baccalaureate nursing program and has completed the junior year. Completion of a minimum of two (2) clinical nursing courses with a grade average or 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale required
