LCSW OR LPC (SBHC)
Access Health Louisiana, a network of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) providing quality, affordable, and convenient care in high-need areas, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to join our school-based health center team. We are committed to delivering compassionate healthcare and ensuring that no patient is turned away due to their ability to pay.
Our current opening is at Iberville SBHC servicing students and staff at Iberville Elementary School and White Castle High School. This is a 10 -month assignment per year.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy to students.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, school personnel, and referral sources to coordinate holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, updating records as needed.
- Identify and report special cases such as child abuse, neglect, or truancy to appropriate authorities and provide follow-up counseling.
- Actively contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving student health outcomes.
- Uphold AHL’s mission of delivering care with dignity, respect, and cultural sensitivity.
