RN Supervisor, Full Time

Requirements :

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to plan organize and implement policies and procedure
• Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision

Responsibilities :

Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing staff in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.

Perform administrative duties such as completing reports, evaluations, charting, IV therapy, discharge planning and accidents / incident reports as necessary. Collaborate with physician(s), resident's / patient's and family in planning resident's / patient's care, treatment, rehabilitation, etc. as necessary.

Monitor nursing care to assure that all residents are treated fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect. Sets priorities in meeting the needs of resident's.

Make rounds of patients / residents to ensure needs are adequately met. Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions. Keep Unit Manager / Director informed of the status of residents and other related matters through written / oral reports.
