Design / Fabrication Engineer - 1909 EK - Process Machinery Design - Solidworks Our client in the Seattle area needs a senior manufacturing / machinery engineer who has process machine design and modelling experience using Solidworks. Experience operating metal fabrication equipment is highly desirable.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create machinery / Process system designs in Solidworks
  • Operate metal fabrication machinery such as press brake, CNC, water-jet etc.
  • Familiarity with designing and fabricating stainless steel
  • 8+ years machinery design experience
  • Able to efficiently produce designs from whiteboard sketches to finished product

Required Qualifications :

  • A Degreed Engineer / Engineer Tech with 8+ years design experience
  • 5 + years' experience with process machinery.
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical design analysis including static and fatigue analyses.
  • Essential to be able to gracefully integrate design ideas from others.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly turn sketches into products.
  • 3 + years' experience fabricating steel parts using fabrication equipment.
