Job Description

Responsibilities include :

• Running the scheduling from project inception to finish
• Managing financial aspects including estimating, budgets, and cost reports
• Conducting weekly meetings and communicating daily with the Superintendent and construction team
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Training and developing the project team
• Managing subcontractor schedules and quality of work
• Reading and interpreting plans, proposals and other documentation to create bids
• Tracking and analyzing data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs
• Obtaining and tracking subcontract bids and negotiating budgets
• Preparing and presenting estimate documentation, including gaps in available data
• Preparing estimates according to the requirements of multiple delivery systems
• Assisting with certain post-bid buyouts
• Initiating and participating in meet and greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers
• Comprehending contract requirements for diversity compliance
