Appellate Attorney (New York)

William Schwitzer & Associates, P.C. is seeking an associate attorney to join our appellate team. This role requires high competency in legal research and writing, and includes drafting appellate briefs, post- and pre- trial motions, as well as dispositive motions. Attorneys with 1-2 years of litigation experience in the field of New York personal injury law or a clerkship are strongly-preferred. Please submit a writing sample with your application and resume.

Preferred Qualifications : Applicants should have 1-2 years of litigation experience or experience in legal writing. Applicants must have demonstrated skills in legal analysis, research and writing; a talent for oral advocacy; and an interest in critical legal thinking. Recent law school graduates may be considered upon a showing of legal analysis and writing excellence, including clerkships, law review or the equivalent.
