We are looking for an experienced AS / 400 RPG Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of IBM i applications. This role will focus on delivering high-quality solutions that enhance system functionality, streamline IT service processes, and support evolving business requirements. In this role, you will :

• Lead the design and development of AS / 400 RPG applications to meet business needs.
• Oversee the implementation of RPGLE solutions, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise in DB2 / 400 database management, focusing on performance optimization and data integrity.
• Collaborate with IT service management teams to improve processes and enhance service delivery.
• Analyze system requirements and create detailed technical specifications for new projects.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring in-person presence several days a week in a client or Cognizant office located in Lewisville, Tx or Coppell, Tx. Salary and other compensation : The annual salary for this position is between $65,447 to $117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
