Key Responsibilities

Ability to use Track Wise as the tracking tool

Visual inspection for most products

~Looking for failures

~Looking for the WHY it failed

This person will be inspecting the 100-200 products a week

Prioritize high priority complaints

Light work with robots

Inspection of 25-40 products a day

Scrap products after inspection

Responsible for maintaining a consistent product inspection throughput via triaging high priority investigations, communicating consistently with other staff on the status of work in process (WIP), and maintaining a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to ensure product is inspected within established timelines.

Performs inspection and testing to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Develops and implements methods and procedures for process control and process improvement. Utilizes sophisticated testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates.

Analyzes reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions. Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented, and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.

This is an on-site individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Engineering degrees preferred.

The job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline while requiring the ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.
