What You Will Do

The Technical Services Software Engineer will report to the Technical Services Supervisor and be responsible for using various tools to complete software customization projects and implement Spectrum ADP solutions. Assignments will include developing custom Crystal Reports and dashboards, scripting database objects (tables, views, procedures and functions), writing fundamental SQL queries, programming ProIV Screens and business data analysis. This position will encompass all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to installation. A successful Technical Services Software Engineer must be action-oriented, capable of independently solving technical problems and able to communicate clearly and effectively to both technical and business audiences. This role involves managing multiple projects while achieving a high revenue rate and staying within budget. This position can be customer-facing at times and will work closely with the Technical Services Business Analyst and Manager to ensure project timelines are met.

• Development of a programming solution and delivery according to individual customer specifications.
• Delivers custom reports (, Crystal Reports), database customization projects, software integrations and data projects, including migrations and corrections (SQL scripts, SQL modification statements and other tools as needed). Executes the tests necessary to ensure that customizations meet scope requirements prior to installation.
• Proactively communicates the progress of projects to the Business Analyst and internal stakeholders, utilizing effective written and verbal communication skills.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
