Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care plans
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, and episodic conditions independently or in collaboration with physicians, as per your qualifications
  • Educating patients and their families about disease prevention, wellness practices, and management strategies
  • Prescribing medications and treatments that align with your area of expertise
  • Participating in ongoing patient care and chronic disease management plans
  • Working seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care
  • Meticulously documenting all patient interactions and care within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Florida
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or its equivalent in specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
