You will own a high-impact growth project focused on how Gen Z discovers food, makes buying decisions, and chooses brands. Your work will turn real consumer insight into clear actions across retail, packaging, and digital marketing. The outcome shapes how La Brea Bakery shows up for Gen Z in the years ahead.

Accountabilities (Whatyou'llbe doing):
Own Gen Z consumer research across shoppingbehavior, food culture, and media habits, then synthesize insights into clear growth opportunities
Define a sharp "Why We WinWithGen Z" brand framework rooted in La Brea Bakery's product, heritage, and points of difference
Identifythe highest value Gen Z occasions and consumption moments that unlock incremental demand
Turn strategy into practical playbooks across retail, foodservice, packaging, social, and partnerships
Build executive ready storytelling and present clear recommendations to senior leadership
Potential Projects:
The intern will act as a junior brand strategist supporting La Brea Bakery's 2026 growth agenda. This role will lead a capstone project to define a clear "Why We WinWithGen Z" strategy, translating consumer insightsinto actionable recommendations across retail, foodservice, packaging, and digital marketing. The intern will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Innovation and present findings to senior leadership at the end of the program.
MinimumQualifications(What you bring to the table):
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's orMaster's degree inMarketing, Business, Communications and Analytics,preference forintern in Junior year
GPA of 3.0 or higher
Consumer research and insight synthesis
PowerPoint and executive storytelling
Basic data analysis and trend interpretation
Social and digital content literacy
Strong written and verbal communication
Program Eligibility:
Must be able to work full-time for a minimum of11consecutive weeks(June 1 - August 14)
Must be able to work from the LA HQ,Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely each Friday
Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening with satisfactory results
Hourly Rate:$25.00
