This healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art 24-bed stepdown unit with spacious private rooms and advanced monitoring capabilities. The facility serves as a Level 1 Trauma Center, the only one in West Virginia, specializing in complex medical, surgical, and trauma patients. The unit is equipped with 11 rooms featuring in-ceiling lifts to promote early patient mobilization and provides exceptional learning opportunities for both seasoned and new graduate nurses. The facility maintains 24 / 7 telemetry monitoring with dedicated monitor technicians and video monitoring for patient safety.
