Program Manager

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, performance-driven individual with strong business and information systems experience to work closely with our Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) clients. Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, analytical, and management skills and the ability to principally contribute to several of the largest and most significant studies in Kalman's portfolio. This position is tied to a proposal. This position will be primarily on-site in Camp Springs, MD. The proposed salary range for this position is $140K / year-$170K / year.

Specific Duties :

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities
  • Facilitate / promote enterprise-wide collaboration across stakeholders to meet all client objectives
  • Lead the deliverable development and submission, ensuring they exceed all requirements and meet predefined timelines
  • Develop strategic roadmaps and implementation plans
  • Establish performance monitoring mechanisms to track project outcomes
  • Support end-to-end project execution, including testing, integration, deployment, and post-deployment evaluations
  • Monitor and ensure conformance to task specifications and contract provisions
  • Principally support and manage IT Implementation Support, Agile Adoption and Governance, Operational Readiness, Change Management, Business Process Improvement, Data Analytics, and Strategic Communications efforts

    • Required Education / Qualifications :

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in program and project management, including at least 5 years managing large-scale, complex federal programs or initiatives
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or equivalent required
  • Strong understanding of DHS business operations
  • Excellent analysis skills and experience working with large data sets
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

    • Preferred Education / Qualifications :

  • Experience supporting large-scale DoD or DHS IT or ERP programs
  • Master's degree
  • Agile or SAFe certification
  • Experience leading Business Case Analyses (BCAs), Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Economic Analyses (EAs), or other decision analytics studies
