Data Scientist

A company is looking for a Data Scientist to develop algorithms and methodologies using machine learning and remote sensing data for quantifying the benefits of regenerative agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

Build, improve, and deploy machine learning models for predicting soil carbon stock

Deliver end-to-end results for customers, including training models and ensuring quality in reports

Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and policy experts to comply with project standards and methodologies

Required Qualifications

Master's degree or Ph.D. in relevant STEM fields such as statistics, computer science, or ecosystem science

3-6 years of industry or research experience in data science, applied machine learning, or geospatial analysis

Strong proficiency in Python for data science, including libraries like pandas and scikit-learn

Experience in building models informed by remotely-sensed data or large spatial datasets

Ability to independently manage projects and deliver results
