Position : Cath Lab Manager

POSITION SUMMARY : The Manager is responsible for ongoing, effective operations and the assessment and improvement of activities. Such responsibilities encompass the internal functioning of the department, which facilitates the functioning of the overall organization. The Manager supports an organizational culture for Service Excellence and practices the Service Excellence standards to all customer groups.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates service excellence competencies.
• Meets the organization's expectations regarding house-wide requirements.
• Demonstrates leadership in the provision of departmental services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services / functions throughout NWTHS. Participates in and supports a process to measure, assess, and improve performance of management, clinical, and / or support services. Maintains regulatory compliance as related to Joint Commission, CMS, TDSHS, and the Board of Nursing.
• Exhibits effective leadership skills through planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating departmental functions in relation to the UHS and the NWTHS vision, mission, strategic goals and values and in accordance with Joint Commission leadership standards.
• Operates the unit(s) in such a way as to meet the fiscal goals of the organization. Manages customer satisfaction to include patients, families, employees and physicians, through effective communication and appropriate responsiveness to identified issues.
