We have an opportunity for an entry level Accountant to join the global general ledger team at Atlassian. This role will be reporting to the Accounting Manager. You will be working across our global entities maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information, ensuring our compliance with policies, collaborating across teams and being part of innovation projects so we can be a world class finance organization. Responsibilities

As a member of the accounting / reporting team, the Staff Accountant holds responsibility for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as analyzing and interpreting the information detailing assets, liabilities and capital to ensure that senior leadership has accurate information to make sound business decisions. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line's core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties :

• Support month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries (e.g., accruals, cash activity, allocation).
• Conduct or assist with account analysis / reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, HR, FP&A) to support accurate financial reporting and ensure key transactions are accounted for.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness in corporate accounting activities.
• Contribute to special projects as needed, including accounting system upgrades, data validation, and reporting optimization.
• Participate in global standardization efforts for policies and procedures
• Additional duties and projects as required

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are :

Zone A : $76,500 - $99,875

Zone B : $69,300 - $90,475

Zone C : $63,900 - $83,425

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
