The individual in this position is responsible for all programing within the Klaras Center for Children, Families, & Developmental Services Division’s Klaras Children’s Center (KCC) / Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) program. The individual in this position is responsible for adhering to ECI contract requirements as well as related regulatory and fiducial matters. This individual is also responsible for assuring staff are hired and trained in a timely manner, that programs are maximizing revenue generation, and that expenditures remain reasonable.
EXAMPLE OF WORK PERFORMED
- Assisting with the development of KCC / ECI’s budget and managing the budget including projection of revenues for budget purposes and ongoing expenditures.
- Assisting managers and supervisors in recruiting, interviewing and recommending the hiring of staff into all units.
- Assuring Managers and Supervisors have the appropriate tools and materials to train staff effectively and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining and expanding ECI programming, to include developing partnerships with other programs within the Klaras Center for Children, Families, & Developmental Services Division and with outside entities such as childcare centers and Head Start.
- Assuring that ECI contract requirements are met for ongoing operation; coordinates audit reviews and completes and monitors any required follow-up corrective action plans.
- Completing staff evaluations and assuring compliance by staff with program and Center policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
Experience :
At least four (4) years in a social services agency is required , with at least two (2) years’ experience in a Case Management and at least one (1) year of related supervisory experience.
Education :
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an appropriate related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Working knowledge of ECI program requirements and objectives is essential.Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of others, to demonstrate fiscal responsibility, to interpret regulations and convey them to others, to establish goals and objectives, to devise solutions to problems, to develop and evaluate administrative policies and procedures, and to prepare concise reports is required.Ability to learn about and implement trauma-informed care practices within the scope of work for the position.Must have excellent verbal / written communication skills as well as excellent time management skills.Ability to lift up to 30lbs.Must have and maintain a level of general health that permits the performance of the job duties and ability to maintain regular attendance as set forth in Center policies and procedures.Must be free of communicable disease to report to work.Position : 8

Salary : $72,000 annually $34.85 hourly
